The Founder’s Club

Freedom is never Free…

but Progressivism will bankrupt humanity!

A special message from Steven Carr, President Columbus Tea Party

For those unfamiliar with the Columbus Tea Party you may be surprised to learn that over the past year it never truly existed.   No real organization ever materialized from the events which were organized and carried out by founders of other groups — Ohio Freedom Alliance, Ohio Liberty Council, 912, Buckeye Firearms, etc.  It was an association in name only.

Last December it was decided to formally organize the Columbus Tea Party and build a multi-faceted association that could carry out the legislative and educational programs necessary to beat back local, state, and federal government which is hellbent on spending us into oblivion and managing every aspect of our lives.

As of this post, we have successfully created an executive committee with leaders of 4 sub-committees and 4 sub-departments, are in the midst of organizing the April 15th Tax Rally, and have 4 social events and  a seminar being organized.  And this is all being done in the background shadows with local volunteers. Everyone is a volunteer!  There is absolutely no financial compensation received by anyone in any committee or department. We do this because we love our country and if asked (at some future point) by our children/grandchildren, “What did you do during that historic time?” we can proudly answer that we took a stand and fought back.

Currently we are in desperate need of funds to “prime the pump” of our organization.  We are personally incurring expenses related to incorporation, web hosting, email marketing, shirt and hat design, and various other fees that must be covered.

Hosting the April 15th Tax Day Rally may cost anywhere between $5,000-$14,000* dollars! We must pay for a sound system and engineer, Port-a-Potties, a stage, tables and chairs, and of course we will be charged for state police whose numbers will be based on the size of our crowed.

* (Note:  If we are granted a waiver by the statehouse we will be allowed to rent a sound system for about $2,500.  If not,we must use their approved vendors who have quoted upwards of $10,000 for the  event.)

We are currently developing fund raising events and products, but still are in desperate need of Patriots stepping up with contributions.

THE FOUNDERS CLUB

We are hoping we can find 100 individuals, families, or businesses that can donate a minimum of $100 for the cause of  liberty and the honor of being one of CTP’s Founding Members.  In exchange, each founder will be given:

1.   A “Saving America” baseball cap “FOUNDERS EDITION”

2.   One “Not On My Watch” T-shirt

3.   First Right privilege to any CTP event, seminar, or function that has restricted capacity.

(In other words, you will have first invitation rights to any of our programs for the next 12 months.)

Please contact me to become part of the Columbus Tea Party’s Founders Club.  In the end you’ll be helping us, helping our country, and helping your own future.
